As the end of another year fast approaches Hobby and Leisure
takes on a new range of SAC Chess Sets. These are themed sets each of a
particular period of history; many recognisable characters are reproduced as
chess pieces, such as Sherlock Holmes, Robert the Bruce, Wellington, Napoleon
etc.

The high skill of the designers, sculptors and craftsmen of
SAC shines through in our collection of handmade chess sets and chess boards.
The richness of finish and attention to detail contribute to the success of the
beautiful products from the SAC range, which is appreciated on five continents.
The chess sets are mainly produced in two finishes made from
crushed stone poly resin. Hand decorated sets where only certain parts are
coloured by hand, whilst some areas remain plain, allowing for the naturally
material to be exposed. Our regular sets are in a dark brown and cream plain
finish. The chess sets do not come with the chess board unless in a
presentation set.
